INTRODUCTION
The Sabah Skills & Technology Centre is Sabah's very own skills development centre. And the result of close cooperation between the Sabah government and the industry.
Established in September 2000, it is set-up as a non-profit society in which the government - State and Federal - will provide the funding and infrastructure whereas the industry provides the support and leadership.
SSTC aims to provide training and educational programs to enhance the skills level of Sabah's workforce. And the areas of training are:

OBJECTIVES
SSTC was established to meet the following objectives: Short-Term
- Meet the training needs of member companies by organizing customized courses.
- Continuously upgrade the skill level of workforce in line with technological progress.
- Establish a mechanism to co-ordinate and utilize resources from industry and institutions.
- Work closely with the private sector, State and Federal government on the implementation of Human Resource Development Fund.

- Promote vocational and technical careers.
- Position the Centre as a leading training institution.
